Welcome to Zombie Dreams! My own little world of all things Gothic! This is a personal blog. I am very opinionated so if you don’t like what I am saying please don’t flame me or leave rude comments. There is a back button on the top of your navigation bar that will help you out. I try not to be disrespectful so I ask the same of my readers. I may use foul language here and there but in no way will you find a post where I’m dropping the "f" bomb are using a word in every other sentence. Here you may find tutorials, blog posts, a calendar of upcoming events, and great sites. I also host "Ask the Goth" it is a question and answer style of thing. Either leave me comment or send me an email about the question you have or something you would like to know preferably pertaining to the Gothic culture and I will do my best to answer it. Im Back!
Finally I have Zombie Dreams back up and running! First off I have a new affiliate, please visit her. Her site is awesome and much fun to read. I think those of you who haven’t given up on my site would like hers. You can find her link under the Affiliates section.
Well since I have gone I have gotten a new piercing! I got the industrial in my ear! It looks so good! I will upload some pictures soon!
For those of you that were looking for a specific article, im sorry to tell you almost all my files were deleted by my stupid mistake so please email me and I can try to find the backup or retype it for the site. (This means all my articles are down for now) Many apologizes.
Well in my absence I have gotten quite a few emails with Ask the Goth questions. For those who have forgotten what that is please allow me to explain: Ask the Goth is a question and answer style of thing. People email me with questions about the Gothic community or want a specific type of tutorial and I will do my best to answer or find an answer for them. One common thing I kept getting asked was to talk about makeup. So today since Im behind and cant answer all questions yet, I will do a general post about makeup.
I fully and truly believe that liquid eyeliner is a gift from the gods! It is incredible! Theres not much else in the makeup world that is this versatile with the same ability to make such detailed designs on the face and body. I think this would be a Goths best friend. Its sort of like using a paint brush with a brush or felt tip and your face is the canvas. I personally Love the felt tip as it allows for easier control. Lately I have had a lot of emails and people around me saying “But Pixie I cant use liquid eyeliner, its way too hard and im not steady enough.” All I have to say to those emails and comments is practice. ^-^ Practice makes perfect. For me I practice right before I go to bed, that way if I mess up it doesn’t matter since I will be washing it off in a few minutes anyways. For liquid liner types I highly recommend waterproof since it wont smudge even after a long night of clubbing (Or whatever else goes on in your dungeon!). But be careful what brands you buy from since not all pratice animal rights by not testing on them. And since I know we all love our adorable furry friends I have composed a list of well known makeup brands that are cruelty free. (Note: This is just a short list of what I use most, there are other companies that don’t do animal testing that aren’t listed here)
